about

LIME: An album with the intent of delving into what it means to be alive in the 21st century. With ever increasing advancement of and reliance on the metropolitan landscapes we call home, it is hard not to feel irrelevant, not to feel like we are one tiny insignificant part in a machine that ruthlessly strives for efficiency and survival of the fittest.
We forget what it is to be ourselves. But we are ruthless like the city. Life in the concrete labyrinth has forced us to think too pragmatically about ourselves, and question our place among the "fittest" who will survive, theoretically. Are we worthy? Are we safe in this environment? Are we safe within ourselves? Who survives? Those who look into the world, or those who look within?

Lime: An aural exploration into the relationship between one's surroundings and one's self
